The site was founded and is maintained by Khem Raj, an engineer based in Nepal. Khem builds fast, accessible, standards-compliant web tools and is responsible for the calculator's logic, the breed database, and the accuracy of the information published here. The engineering goal is a tool that loads quickly, works on any device, and is usable with a keyboard or screen reader.

We are not a veterinary clinic, and the calculator does not replace professional care. Where the subject calls for clinical judgment — confirming pregnancy, counting puppies, or managing a difficult birth — we direct readers to a licensed veterinarian.

The calculator's day counts follow the gestation figures published in the Merck Veterinary Manual.
